Welcome to my holiday home tour! I am so excited to be sharing my home all dressed up for the holidays for the first time with you. Today I am joining several talented bloggers showcasing our homes in the “Our Homes for the Holidays” tour. If you are visiting from Kelsey’s blog Laila Belles, welcome! We have an amazing group bringing you Christmas decor inspiration all week long. The links to all bloggers in the tour can be found at the bottom of my post.
Today I am showing you Christmas decor throughout our entry, living room, dining room, kitchen, and my son’s bedrooms. Grab a cup of coffee and lets start the tour!
Our Entryway
C’mon in! Our entry way is pretty simple so I keep it simple with our decor, too. I just added some festive garland on the railing and a fresh boxwood wreath from Trader Joes (only $10.99!) on the door to warm up this space.
Here is the full view of our entry way from the buffet in our living room. One of my favorite winter decor items in our home are the Simon Pearce glass evergreen trees. There are several different sizes and types of glass to choose from. They are all so unique and beautiful!

Our Living Room
Since it’s so cold outside right now I like our home to feel extra warm and cozy. Winter is one of my favorite seasons to decorate and my favorite time to catch up on some snuggles with my boys. Our living room is where we spend most of our time during the day so I love adding our warmest blankets, softest pillows, and pretty pops of color to this room since everything tends to look pretty drab outside (unless it snows!).
I got this faux red amaryllis plant from a local store (Mulhalls) about 5 years ago and I still love using it! I switched out the container it was in this year, as I loved this versatile pedestal bowl from Caitlin Wilson Design. I found the white reindeer at HomeGoods, but here is a similar version.
The Pottery Barn white sweater pillows are the softest, coziest pillows ever and how fun is the throw blanket with the fur poms on the ends? Did you get anything from the Magnolia Hearth and Hand collection at Target? I loved the black and white plaid pillows and had to get them for our sofa!
This little pillow is from Pottery Barn about 5 years ago, but since its so neutral it still finds its way into our home during the holidays!
For all the details on ribbon, decorations, and ornaments on our Christmas tree check out my blog post about how I decorated our Christmas tree this year.

Our Dining Room
When we aren’t eating in this space, this is how our dining room looks. I like to keep it simple by having a couple potted boxwoods on the table that I use all year round. In the winter I tie this pretty ribbon on them that I found at Nell Hills in Kansas City. Easy and simple!

Our Kitchen
I added another Trader Joe’s boxwood wreath above our sink and tied it with some left over ribbon from the Christmas tree. I think it adds such a festive and natural touch!

Jack’s Bedroom
I added just a few touches of Christmas decor to the boys’ bedrooms. When I was little it was our tradition to have a Christmas tree in our bedrooms and decorate them however we wanted. I love that my boys have their own trees now and can play around with the ornaments. I helped with the ribbon for the tree and Jack loved decorating it with ornaments! I make sure to use unbreakable plastic ones on their trees.
I found the tree, ribbon, ornaments, and tree skirt all at Target.
Can’t forget about our Christmas books! I like to display them in his nightstand all season long so we can enjoy them and have easier access to them.
Harris’ Nursery
Harris also has a little Christmas decor in his nursery this year. Since his nursery is pretty neutral I wanted to make his tree soft just like his room. I found his tree and tree skirt at Target, the white felt pom garland on Etsy, and the stars and baby animal ornaments from RH Baby & Child.
I hope you enjoyed my holiday home tour! Thank you so much for stopping by! I truly appreciate each of you taking the time out of your day to check out my tour. As always, if you found any inspiration today make sure to hover over any image and save it to your pinterest boards!
