The holiday season is such a magical time of year and filled with special celebrations. What could be more special than hosting a beautiful Christmas dinner with family and friends? Here is a tablescape idea for any dinner party you are hosting this holiday season.
I usually use what I have around the house for most of my tablescapes but I really wanted to create something fresh and new this year so I found a few new things to add to the mix. I started with a neutral table runner I already own from Pottery Barn. I have used this table runner so many times, it was well worth the purchase and has become a staple!
Next I layered a new table runner on top from Voila here in Omaha. It has beaded edges and compliments the sparkly, frosted garland.
Since we do not have low hanging light fixtures in our dining room I like to use height to make a statement and added the tall sparkly trees and a white reindeer.
Last, I added white snowflake pillar candles from Pottery Barn that are old but I linked similar ones below.

The inspiration for the gold and white place settings were the place cards from Miranda Writes. Miranda is a local calligrapher and I adore her modern style of calligraphy, it is so beautiful! I just had to ask her to make them for this tablescape. Make sure to check out her instagram to see all of her pretty color combinations and more inspiration!
I love how elegant the place cards look on the table and the shimmery gold is gorgeous when the sunlight hits it!

Last but not least, the ribbon on the chairs were a last minute accent. I had a roll of ivory ribbon left over from decorating our tree and greenery left over from our winter planters, so I decided to create a simple knot and add in a sprig of white pine greenery for a festive touch.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post and found inspiration for your own Christmas dinner party tables. If you did, be sure to hover over any image and save it to your Pinterest boards!
Thank you so much for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful holiday season!

Really like the chair decor. I’m hosting Christmas day and will like to do that. I do like the ivory ribbon with the green tree lims. My China is Spode Christmas tree paternity and I think I will be able to work in this idea. My chairs are mission stile so very doable. Thanks for the nice decore tip.
