Good morning! Today I am talking about entertaining during football season and at the end of the post I have details on the Nora Fleming giveaway! There is just something about the fall and football season that makes it the perfect time to gather with friends. The cool weather, fall food, and fire pits are some of my favorite things about the season. This year we hosted a party for one of the Nebraska Husker football games. We kept it really casual and fun. The kids loved the bounce house and decorating pumpkins with Halloween stickers!
I didn’t have a ton of time to take pictures since I was hosting so please excuse that the food set up and pictures aren’t my best. All that matters is that it the food was delicious and everyone had a good time, right?!
When I was putting together the menu for this party I wanted to keep it easy. I’ve noticed overtime that the simpler the menu is, the less stressed I am and the more time I get to spend with my guests. My husband made his delicious smoked ribs and I planned the rest of the menu. Here’s what we had:
