This year I teamed up with Nobbies to decorate our front porch for Halloween. They have the best halloween decor with so many fun options for your halloween front porch. I kept it simple since I already had a lot of color on our porch with my mums and pumpkins and decided to add spiderwebs and giant spiders. This was my first time decorating our front porch for Halloween and the kids are loving it!

Halloween Front Porch
Here’s everything I used to create our halloween front porch:
- Two giant spiders: These are so awesome! The legs are bendable and you can position them however you want to. The legs were long enough to wrap around the columns and I twisted them in the back to help secure the spider to the columns. Here are more posable spiders in different sizes: 90″ posable spider, 42″ spider, light up spider (available in store)
- Fake spiderwebs: I used two of the 800 sq ft. packages and that was the perfect amount for our two columns. These also come in 400 and 200 sq ft. packages, too.
- Command hooks: The spiderwebs stayed up on the columns pretty well so the only place I used command hooks was across the top of our ceiling for the part that went between the two columns.
- Fishing wire: I used this to help reinforce attaching the spider to the columns.
- Scissors
- Ladder or step stool
Overall it was very easy and simple to do! TIP: If you are wrapping your columns with spiderwebs, start at the bottom and then use whatever is left at the top to drape in between the columns. I only did this with one of the columns and wish I had started at the bottom on both.
Halloween Costumes
While we were in Nobbies we had so much fun looking at all of the Halloween costumes. There are SO many options for adults and kids, and any kind of prop you can think of. I wanted to have fun with the boys and get in costume, too, so we decided to do a Game of Thrones theme for our halloween costumes. If you haven’t watched the show, I am Daenarys aka mother of dragons. They love their dragon costumes and have been running around chasing each other in them!
Daenarys Halloween Costume: Wig, faux fur cape, costume top, sword, leggings and boots are my own.
