A lot of you asked what I am getting my boys this year so today I am sharing holiday gift guides for babies, toddlers/little kids, and stocking stuffer ideas! When it comes to kids toys I try to pick things that they can recreate again and use their imagination with vs. something they will play with once and be done. Also, my boys enjoy being outside all year round so some of these gifts are outdoor related!
Here are my boys ages so when I reference them you know what age group I am referring to.
Jack is almost 5 years old, Harris is 2.5 years old, and Teddy is 9 months old.
Holiday Gift Guide for Babies
- Monica and Andy Rompers – My boys basically lived in rompers as babies. They are so comfortable, easy to put on, and cute! The donut and coffee prints are adorable.
- Jonathan Adler Sensory Gym – If I were buying an activity gym again, this is the one I would pick. I love the black and white so newborns can actually see it and it has music, lights, a mirror, and a mobile.
- Winkel Rattle and Sensory Toy – All three of our boys loved this as babies!
- Nogginstik Developmental Light Up Rattle – We received this rattle as a gift for Harris and we loved it so much we used it again for Teddy. It comes with a list of different developmental activities for ages 0-12 months.
- B. Squeeze Blocks – These are great, durable soft blocks.
- Little Giraffe Bath Towel – Another favorite that we own! It’s a nice thick towel and really soft.
- The Wonderful Things You Will Be Book – We love reading this book to the boys!
- Kickee Pants Sleeper – My favorite sleeper brand for little babes. These are the softest sleepers and the footies are lined with fleece. My boys still like to wear the two piece version of these pajamas because they are so comfortable.
- Sit-me-up Floor Seat – This chair was a lifesaver until our boys could sit up on their own.
- Little Nomad Play Mat – A cute play mat that will look pretty in your home.
Holiday Gift Guide for Toddlers and Little Kids
- Pottery Barn Kids Carolina Craft Table and 4 Chairs – My boys use this table everyday. They eat and play here. It has two drawers for storage, too.
- Radio Flyer 3-in-1 Folding Wagon – An awesome wagon for a great price! It folds down like a stroller for easy transportation and storage.
- Radio Flyer Scooter – A well made scooter that both my boys love.
- Construction Duplos Set – They enjoy playing with this set and building construction trucks together.
- Step2 Roller Coaster – This roller coaster is so much fun!
- Magna Tiles (comes with car expansion set) – So many possibilities and ways to be creative with this set. We have this and love it!
- Simplay3 Carry and Go Track for Cars, Trucks and Trains – this thing is awesome! It has two sides so your kids can play with cars and trucks on one side and trains on the other.
- Fujifilm Insta X Mini 9 Instant Camera – Both my boys love this. Its so fun to see what they capture. Don’t forget the film!
- Hunter Boots – The best kids boots ever. Easy to slip on and off and basically indestructible.
- B. toys Parum Pum Pum – Hands down one of our most played with toys.
- Christopher Radko Ornament – My mom started this tradition with my sisters and I, and now my boys get a Radko each year, too. Every year they come out with new designs so we try to pick an ornament for each boy that reminds us of them and what they are interested in that year.
- John Deere Tractor Powerwheels with Trailer – Both my boys also LOVE this. This is probably their favorite “toy” that they own. It is very durable and can go up hills and our yard. It comes with a trailer, too.
- Wooden Train Set – Train sets are a great gift! My boys enjoy rebuilding their train tracks over and over. You can add other fun pieces like bridges and tunnels to it, too!
- The Northface Thermoball Hooded Jacket – A great jacket to have for the colder months. It is lightweight but it keeps them toasty warm.
- Construction Site on Christmas Night Book – I like to add to our collection of Christmas books each year and my boys love the other two construction site books.
Stocking Stuffers
- Lush Bath Bombs and Bubble Fun – My boys LOVE the bath bombs from Lush. They also enjoy the “4-in-1 fun” too. It’s moldable (like play-doh) and if you hold it under the bath faucet it turns into bubble bath. So fun!!
- Scissor Skills – Great practice for school and fun! Jack enjoys this activity pad.
- Contigo Water Bottles – All around great water bottle. No leaks or spills and easy for kids to drink out of.
- Mini Lego Sets (less than $5) – These are a fun idea for the older kids!
- Melissa and Doug: Paint Your Own Race Car – Getting my boys this for their stockings.
- Puzzle To Go – Jack enjoys these puzzles and I like that they are in a small bag for storage. They sell several different kinds for both boys and girls.
- Brio Farm Animal Train – This train comes with two farm animals – so cute!
- Nike Socks – These are nice and thick socks for the winter.
- The Incredibles 2 DVD – It’s a favorite in our house.
- Hot Wheels Cars
- Play Doh
I hope you enjoyed these fun gift guides! I tried to make them not so gender specific but I do have three boys and I like to recommend things that I know my kids love and yours will (hopefully) too!
Happy shopping!
