Since Mother’s Day is this weekend I thought I would share my son Jack’s bedroom. He gave me the best job in the world.. being a mommy! This room was really fun to put together. I have 3 younger sisters so getting to pick out bedroom decor for a little boy was such a different experience for me. This bedroom used to be our guest bedroom and is now our three-year-old son Jack’s bedroom. When it was our guest bedroom I had all-white bedding in here so this was definitely a transformation! We already had a full size mattress from the guest bedroom so instead of buying a toddler bed we decided to select furniture for him that he could grow into and use for a long time.

When I saw the Jameson collection from RH Baby & Child I thought it was so timeless and the details on it are gorgeous in person. We almost selected the crib version for our nursery so I am glad I was able to use it in a different room. The Windsor navy plaid bedding is exactly what I had in my mind so when I saw it I knew it was meant to be. In general I love gingham and I thought this large navy and khaki plaid was so boyish and preppy. I also love monograms so I couldn’t resist adding Jack’s monogram to this adorable boudoir pillow. I didn’t want his bed to have too many pillows though because I do want him to make his own bed eventually!

| “Everything is Possible” Sugarboo Art: Borsheims |
I spotted this Sugarboo artwork at Borsheims and thought it would be the perfect piece above my son’s bed. It has a great message, too! “She said, ‘You mustn’t forget that everything is possible. No dreamer is ever too small and, Darling, no dream is ever too big.'”

I wanted to mix up the furniture a little bit and thought this trunk style nightstand would be a nice accent and compliment the Jameson furniture. I found this gold decorative sphere at Voila and I like using it multiple ways. I’ve used it as a bookend, on top of a stack of books, and also in our family room. It was really reasonable and a great decor piece to have.

My son loves to read and has lots of books so we selected this Jameson bookshelf tower and it fits nicely in the corner of his room. He likes to bring all of his pillows on the floor and use this as his reading corner.
The original closets were difficult to slide open so we renovated those as well.

I think the riveted style mirror below and picture frames add an industrial feel to his room, too.
