Awhile back I wrote a blog post about light fixture ideas for our new house. Today I am sharing all of the final light fixture selections we have made. I worked with Erica Bryant Design on the selections for each room and I am thrilled with what we came up with. You will notice some of the original light fixture ideas stayed on our list but there are some new lights we added, too.
Entryway Light Fixture
I think the Acadia chandelier by Julie Neill is a beautiful, modern take on a traditional chandelier. I love the little round light bulbs!

Main Hallway Light Fixtures
Since the beginning, Erica and I have discussed doing glass globe lights or lanterns down the main hallway. We decided on these small Darlana lanterns by E.F. Chapman. I have always loved this light and considered these for above our kitchen island, too!

Dining Room Light Fixtures
I wanted to keep our dining room on the more casual side and decided to try a light fixture I hadn’t seen before. I like the organic and linear look to this chandelier and I can’t wait to see it in person. It will look so beautiful above our rectangle table!

The Venini double sconce will flank both sides of the built in buffet in the dining room.

Powder Room Sconces
The space between our mirror and the wall in our powder room will be a little narrow so these sconces will be perfect in there. We decided to do one on each side of the mirror in a polished nickel finish.

Office Picture Lights
I love the look of picture lights and thought they would be perfect in the office. There will be three across the top of the built-ins in that space.

Kitchen Island Pendants
What I love most about these pendant lights is how substantial they look over a kitchen island. Seeing them in Chrissy Marie Blog’s kitchen and Jillian Harris’ kitchen sold them for me. I can’t wait to see them above our island!

Dinette Light Fixture
I am excited to see this light fixture above our round dinette table. I love that it is a mix between the Darlana lantern and a chandelier.

Master Bedroom Light Fixture
From the beginning I knew I wanted this beautiful light fixture in our master bedroom and I hoped to have the smaller version in our master closet.

Master Bathroom Lighting
This light by Aerin makes such a statement and we thought it would look beautiful over the bath tub. I think the white plaster finish will be so pretty with the marble and polished nickel finishes in the bathroom.

Boys Shared Bathroom Lighting
We plan to do a navy vanity in the boys bathroom and thought this Reed double sconce would look perfect in between the two mirrors.

Jack’s Bathroom Lighting
Jack’s bathroom is going to have a natural white oak vanity and these simple Bryant bath pendants will be beautiful in there.

Outdoor Light Fixtures
We will have 10 carriage lights around the exterior of our home and one pendant hanging from the front stoop. Since we needed 10 lights we decided to go with a more budget friendly option for the carriage lights. I think this light is beautiful and I love the lines on it!
Restoration Hardware Cambridge Sconce – Large in Weathered Zinc
Since the carriage lights will not be visible from the front stoop and are in a separate area, we decided to go with the Darlana outdoor hanging lantern at the entrance.

What are some of your favorite lights and finishes?

Juliet
Love all your lighting choices. I looked at several of them for our renovation. I used the Jacqueline Flush Mount in our master bedroom (we have lower ceilings) and just love it. Excited to see your in that beautiful home! xo

Such pretty selections! What size did you end up using for your recessed can/downlights (4, 5, or 6″)?
