POPS OF SPRING + EASTER
<> <> <>
I enjoy decorating year round, but spring is one of myΒ favorites becauseΒ it usuallyΒ feels like winter has lasted FOREVER here in the midwest. Β When those first couple of days in the 60’s come, it feels like summer! It is so beautiful when everything starts to bloom and turn green. Β It really makes you stop and notice all of the beauty around us. Β I like to incorporateΒ natural elements into my spring decor.
I have so many wonderful memories of Easter as a child.Β Dyeing Easter eggs, Easter Mass, the Easter egg hunts, Easter dresses, and spending time with family.Β Β Now that I have my own children I try toΒ make our holidays as special as mine were growing up.
Isn’t this chair cover adorable? My mother-in-law has an embroidery machine and makes these herself!

On Easter morning we have brunch as a family after Mass. Β I like to keep it easy (and easy clean-up too) by using our everyday white dishes and then using fresh flowers to add some color. Β If you are local in Omaha, Trader Joe’s, Costco, and Whole Foods have gorgeousΒ flowers at pretty good prices! Β My house smells so good from the purple Hyacinths.
