This year for Valentine’s Day we are planning on spending it together as a family. I am one lucky mommy and will get to spend Valentine’s Day with all four of my boys. This past week my water broke a little earlier than planned at 33 weeks with our third son who was due in March. I am on bed rest until he can be delivered this week at 34 weeks. Our son will most likely be in the NICU on Valentine’s day, but I feel very lucky that I will get to see him and hold him on Valentine’s Day along with his older brothers. We are all very excited to meet him this week and love him so much already!
My boys are big breakfast eaters (they get it from their dad) and I am not the biggest morning person, so I wanted to make something really easy for them for Valentine’s Day breakfast. Their favorite things to eat for breakfast are pancakes, waffles, fruit, and smoothies.
I have seen these breakfast kabobs on pinterest and thought these would be a fun way to incorporate all of their favorite breakfast foods. They were so easy to make and the combinations you can create are endless! I used mini pancakes, mini waffles, strawberries, bananas, raspberries, Nutella, and maple syrup for ours.
My boys also love smoothies and usually I use whatever we have in the refrigerator to make them, but this time I wanted to try a recipe from Weelicious. She makes very healthy smoothies that her kids love and my boys really liked this one. I even made a little for myself and thought it was delicious, too!
My boys’ favorite pajamas are Kickee Pants because they are so soft and cozy. How sweet are these “sweet heart” pajamas for Valentine’s Day? Is there anything cuter than toddlers in pajamas?
I hope you enjoyed these easy ideas for a Valentine’s Day breakfast with your family.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
