Master Bathroom Ideas and Inspiration

I love the look of a classic, white marble bathroom. Our last master bathroom had a similar look and we loved it so much we are planning to do marble again in our new master bath. I think Ben is most excited about having his own vanity (so he won’t have to stand behind me when we are both getting ready) and I am most excited about having a tub of my own to relax in. In our previous home we had one bath tub in the boys bathroom and there was no way to relax in there with all of their bath toys. I think a glass of wine and some bath bombs sound pretty amazing especially after the cold winter we have had.

Master Bathroom Vanities

In our bathroom we will have linen cabinets on either side of our sinks and then in the middle will be a lowered sitting vanity. In the picture below I like the glass upper cabinets to break up the cabinetry. These gorgeous glass cabinets were designed by The Fox Group. By the way, I am obsessed with The Fox Group so you will be seeing a lot of inspiration pictures from them on our home build journey. I LOVE their style!

In the picture below I like how the mirrors are framed out with trim up to the ceiling. It is a similar layout to what ours will be like, except with a sitting vanity in the middle.

Master Bathroom Tub

I love a free standing tub and the idea of having built ins on either side of it. Isn’t the millwork in the picture below beautiful? We will also have a window directly behind our tub like the picture below.

I have always loved this Hampton light fixture by Aerin.
Here is an example of it hanging over a bath tub in Jillian Harris’s master bathroom.

There are so many gorgeous tubs out there, it is hard to pick one! From the start I knew I wanted a free standing tub. Erica found the one below and I just love it! It is so elegant and I love the look of it.
